‘Salut amb Suport’ Programme

«Salut amb suport»
means «Health with Support»
in English.

This project aims to remove barriers
to accessing healthcare
for the people with disabilities we support,
who need some form of assistance
and do not have enough income
to pay for this service.

The programme provides support,
follow-up and guidance
so that each person can better understand
health-related issues
and take part in decisions
about their own health.

This may include support
with administrative procedures,
accompaniment to medical appointments
or access to clear
and easy-to-understand information.

The aim is for each person
to look after their health
with greater independence,
confidence and security,
and to:

Detect health problems early
and receive appropriate treatment.
Follow their treatment plan.
Prevent their health
from getting worse prematurely.
