Accessibilitat cognitiva

Everyone has the right
to access to information, to the knowledge and culture.
That’s why Som — Fundació has started
the Cognitive Accessibility project,
because the people we support
understand all the information
and thus improve capacity
to make decisions for themselves,
about how to live
and how to perform the activities of daily living,
increasing their participation.

We have created a work team
which is made up of professionals from the entity
and for people with intellectual disabilities
which make the documents we deliver easy to read
to the people we support.

This work team meets weekly.
In these meetings they work
to adapt the content and design
into easy reading.

Easy reading adaptation
is done progressively,
both of the documentation we perform
as well as other forms of communication
such as our website.
