The Christmas Lunch is an important tradition for us. It means reuniting with the people we accompany who live in the Lands of the West to celebrate the Christmas festivities together. It is an opportunity for professionals, volunteers, board members, and the individuals we accompany to feel closer to Som – Fundació.
Special guests
This year, we had the presence of prominent authorities from the region. We want to express our sincere thanks to Carlos Enjuanes, Councilor for Social Innovation of the City Council, and Alba Castellana, Councilor for Social Action of the City of Tàrrega. Their participation added an official touch and recognition to our cause, reinforcing the importance of community support.
Recognition and celebration
One of the most anticipated moments was the awarding of diplomas to participants in the Christmas Card Contest and the first finalist of the contest, Jordi Sàries. The creations of the participants were not only inspiring but also a testament to the talent and creativity of our community.
Additionally, we cannot forget the excitement of handing out the gifts during the Christmas Lunch. Each package represented more than material objects; it was a display of consideration and affection towards all the individuals we accompany. Moreover, this year, we decided to add a different note to our Christmas Lunch. After the official moments, we moved the celebration to the local discotheque. Dancing, laughing, and enjoying the music was a fun way to strengthen the bonds that unite us as a community.
We want to express our gratitude to Hotel Nastasi for welcoming us so kindly and providing such a warm space for the celebration. Their collaboration was crucial to ensuring everything went perfectly.
Thanks to all who were part of this unforgettable day. See you next year with more smiles, more support, and more community.
Merry Christmas and see you soon!
